Brent McKain

Brent McKain is an accomplished academic and software application programmer with extensive experience in both mathematics education and programming. Since July 2020, Brent has served as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Concurrently, Brent has been employed at National Indemnity Company since May 2021 as a Software Application Programmer III, after holding various technical roles within the same company from June 2017 to May 2021. Brent's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, complemented by a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Physics, both obtained from the same institution. Prior to these roles, Brent contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and as a START Team Leader at Nebraska Wesleyan University.
