Welcome to the official LinkedIn page of the National Indigenous Training Academy (NITA) — a transformative initiative operated by Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, dedicated to providing market leading vocational education and training and creating career pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

NITA delivers accredited, culturally grounded and place-based training in partnership with local communities in hospitality and tourism, with immersive, hands-on experience at two of Australia’s most iconic destinations: Ayers Rock Resort near Uluru, Northern Territory, and the Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre in Far North Queensland.

Our trainees don’t just study — they connect on Country, live and work onsite and gain real-world tourism and hospitality industry experience while building skills, confidence, independence, and community.
