Kristina Lugo

Kristina Lugo has extensive work experience in various roles at different organizations. Currently, they hold the position of Director of People and Operations at the National Institute for Reproductive Health/NIRH Action Fund since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the Casita Maria Center for Arts & Education, where they had a range of responsibilities. These include serving as Interim Co Executive Director from June 2022 to February 2023, Deputy Director of Finance and Operations from October 2021 to February 2023, Director of Operations from July 2018 to October 2021, Operations Manager from August 2017 to July 2018, Administrative Manager from January 2016 to August 2017, Clerical Coordinator from April 2013 to December 2015, and Scholastic Aid from September 2012 to March 2013.

Kristina Lugo began their formal education in 2011 at Lincoln Culinary Institute where they pursued studies in an unspecified field, but did not obtain a degree. In 2020, they enrolled at Monroe Community College and is expected to graduate in 2024 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, majoring in Business Administration and Management, General. In addition to their degree pursuits, Kristina Lugo has also obtained several certifications including the Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from Leadership Fellows New York in December 2022, the Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional - CNAP Advanced certification from BDO FMA in June 2022, and the Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional - CNAP Essentials certification from BDO FMA in February 2022.
