Chris Selden

Chris Selden has worked in a variety of roles since 1997. Starting at JP Morgan as an Analyst and Associate, they then moved to TA Associates as an Associate, where they were a member of an investment team and was responsible for sourcing three investments totaling over $165m. In 2006, they became a Summer Associate at New Energy Capital, and in 2007 they were an Assistant Project Manager at Hines. In 2008, they became a Special Projects Director - Finance at Value Retail, and in 2013 they joined Funding Circle USA as the Head of Corporate Development and Planning, where they were responsible for the strategy, leadership, and execution of the Corporate Development and Planning team. Chris also identified and explored acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and investments to accelerate growth of existing business and to expand into new products and geographies. In 2016, Chris became an Independent Consultant at CSS Consulting, and in 2018 they joined Man Crates as the Senior Vice President, Business Operations and Vice President - Strategic Initiatives. Chris was responsible for the strategy, leadership, and analytics of Growth Function; Corporate Development; Customer Success; People Operations; and Administration (Legal, Insurance, Stock Options, Etc.) functions. In 2022, they joined BrightHire as the Head of Finance and Operations.

Chris Selden obtained a Masters of Business Administration from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Real Estate. Prior to this, they obtained a BA from Williams College in Economics and Math.
