Sarah Swango

Sarah Swango has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sarah has held various leadership positions in different organizations. Most recently, they worked at the National Institute of Building Sciences as the Vice President of Corporate & Foundation Relations. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Membership & Development and Senior Director of Business Development at the same organization. Before joining the National Institute of Building Sciences, Sarah was the Director of Affinity Programs at the National Association of Home Builders. Sarah also worked as the Senior Director of Membership and Development at Medicaid Health Plans of America, where they successfully managed the organization's budget and cultivated relationships with members and sponsors. Earlier in their career, they held roles at the National Association of Home Builders as an Account Sales Manager for Exposition Sales and Sponsorship & Advertising. Sarah began their career as the Recruiting and Marketing Manager at metroMSR and worked as a Fundraising Supervisor at Gettysburg College. Overall, Sarah has demonstrated strong leadership, business development, and relationship-building skills throughout their career.

Sarah Swango attended The Wheeler School from 1994 to 2000, where they graduated in the High School Class of 2000. From 2000 to 2004, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Spanish at Gettysburg College. In 2003, they briefly studied Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Seville.
