Charles Cleland

SBIR National Program Leader

Charles Cleland has an extensive career at the United States Department of Agriculture's National Institute of Food and Agriculture, serving as SBIR National Program Leader for both the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program and the National Nutritional Funds (NNF) since May 1986. With a foundational education in Zoology and Botany from Wabash College, where Charles obtained a Bachelor's degree from 1957 to 1961, expertise has been developed in overseeing significant agricultural innovation programs for over three decades.
