Shuhei Kurizaki

Visiting Associate Professor at National Institute of Informatics

Shuhei Kurizaki is a prominent academic and policy expert, currently serving as an Advisory Committee Member for National Defense Capabilities at the Japan Ministry of Defense and as Editor in Chief for the Japanese Journal of Political Science. Additionally, Kurizaki holds positions as a Nonresident Research Fellow at the Ministry of Finance - Japan and a Visiting Associate Professor at the National Institute of Informatics. Since April 2013, Kurizaki has been an Associate Professor at Waseda University. Previous experience includes a Visiting Scholar role at the Stanford Center for International Security and Cooperation and an Academic Associate position at Harvard University. Kurizaki began academic career as an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University and completed a Predoctoral Fellowship at Harvard. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Political Science and Government from UCLA and a BA in Law from Sophia University.
