Xuechen Liu

Xuechen Liu is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Institute of Informatics since June 2023, following a PhD at Inria where research focused on robust speaker recognition systems. Previous experience includes a Research Assistant position at A*STAR, and a Research and Development Engineer role at Emotech LTD, specializing in Speech and Speaker Recognition technologies. Liu's earlier research experience includes an internship at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Medical/Audio Signal Processing and Machine Learning, as well as a Developer Trainee position at Tenglong Information Technology. Liu's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Eastern Finland, a Master of Science from The University of Edinburgh, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Liverpool and Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University.
