Dr. Kelcy Walker Pope

Dr. Kelcy Walker Pope is currently the Director of Health Equity Initiatives at the National Institute of Minority Economic Development. Previously, Dr. Kelcy worked as a Health & Wellness Coach/Educator at Inspire2Wellness and held positions at Saint Augustine’s University, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, NC Department of Health and Human Services, and Chatham County in roles related to public health education and promotion. Dr. Kelcy holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Promotion, a Master of Arts in Health Education and Promotion, and a Doctor of Public Health with a concentration in Health Advocacy and Leadership.
