Ross Upton

Co-chair, AI Committee, Heartshare at National Institutes of Health

Ross Upton, PhD, is the Founder, CEO, and Chief Scientific Officer of Ultromics, a position held since May 2017. Upton also serves as Co-Chair of the AI Committee for HeartShare at The National Institutes of Health and is a member of the Steering Committee for the AMP Heart Failure initiative at the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health, both positions assumed in October 2022 and October 2023, respectively. In addition, Upton has been a Clinical Researcher at the University of Oxford since April 2013. Upton's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cardiovascular Medicine from the University of Oxford, earned between 2015 and 2019, as well as a Master of Science (MSc) in Cardiovascular Science from Newcastle University (2012-2015) and a MSc in Clinical Biochemistry from the University of Surrey (2011-2012).
