Akshata Kalloor

Akshata Kalloor is an accomplished economist currently serving as Associate Vice President at the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund since March 2021. Previously, Kalloor worked as a Consultant in the Ministry of Finance's Department of Economic Affairs from February 2018 to February 2021 and as a Research Associate at the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy in New Delhi from October 2015 to January 2018. Kalloor's expertise includes conducting research and policy analysis on public sector borrowing requirements and private investment, co-authoring a paper with Dr. Ajay Chhibber, and analyzing state spending patterns. Earlier experience includes a role as a Business Analyst at GENPACT and a summer internship at IFCI Venture Capital Funds Ltd. Kalloor holds a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy from The Takshashila Institution and has completed a master's degree at Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, following undergraduate studies at Lady Shri Ram College For Women.
