Royal Taylor

Royal Taylor has a diverse work experience in finance and budgeting roles. They began their career as a Labor Analyst at Brightpoint in 2006, before working as a Finance Manager at The Field Museum for five years. In 2014, they joined the State of Colorado as a Budget Director and Policy Analyst. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at National Jewish Health in various financial roles, including Financial Manager and Associate Director of Budget and Planning. In 2020, they joined Humana as a Business Intelligence Lead before returning to National Jewish Health as the Director of Budget and Finance in 2021. Currently, Royal Taylor serves as the Executive Director of Business Analytics and Cost Accounting at National Jewish Health.

Royal Taylor received a Master of Public Administration degree in Public Management from DePaul University, from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2008, Royal completed a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management at Marian University Indianapolis. In terms of additional certifications, Royal acquired a certification in Deep Learning with R from Udemy in 2018 and obtained a certification in Managing Big Data with MySQL from Coursera in 2017. Other certifications Royal obtained include The Analytics Edge from MITx on edX in 2017, and a certification in Time Series Analysis and Forecasting from the National Association for Business Economics (NABE) (exact year of attainment unknown). Additionally, Royal completed a Data Analytics Boot Camp at the University of Denver from 2018 to 2019.
