Royal Taylor has a diverse work experience in finance and budgeting roles. They began their career as a Labor Analyst at Brightpoint in 2006, before working as a Finance Manager at The Field Museum for five years. In 2014, they joined the State of Colorado as a Budget Director and Policy Analyst. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at National Jewish Health in various financial roles, including Financial Manager and Associate Director of Budget and Planning. In 2020, they joined Humana as a Business Intelligence Lead before returning to National Jewish Health as the Director of Budget and Finance in 2021. Additionally, Royal completed a Data Analytics Boot Camp at the University of Denver from 2018 to 2019.
