Abigail Turner

Abigail Turner is an experienced journalist currently serving as a States Correspondent for National Journal since June 2025. Prior to this role, Abigail held the position of Editor in Chief at The American University Eagle from December 2023 to April 2025, where management responsibilities included overseeing a staff of over 115 individuals, shaping editorial direction on critical issues, and coordinating frequent breaking news coverage. Abigail has also interned with prominent organizations such as CNN, contributing to various teams where responsibilities included writing briefings, conducting research, and reporting on political races. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Political Science from American University and experience in investigative reporting, Abigail has developed strong editorial and leadership skills throughout a diverse career in journalism.
