Julie Dixon

Managing Director, Network Science Initiative at National Journal

Julie Dixon is managing director of National Journal's Network Science Initiative. Since joining Atlantic Media in 2014, she has held several research, leadership, and strategy roles. Most recently, Julie was Director of Strategy at The Atlantic's brand evolution firm Atlantic 57, where she led strategic engagements for diverse clients across media, philanthropy, nonprofit, and professional services sectors. Previously, she led National Journal's Communications Council, providing research and advisory services to strategically support advocacy communications executives in Washington.

Prior to joining the Atlantic Media family, Julie led Georgetown University's Center for Social Impact Communication. She holds a Master of Science in Public Relations from Syracuse University's Newhouse School. Originally from Rochester, NY, Julie currently resides in Takoma Park with her two dachshunds, Herbert and Winston
