David has focused on translating data into intelligence and the re-design of clinical service to realize business opportunity. After clinical and research training at the Mayo Clinic, David spent two decades in clinical practice, research, and leadership. Innovation efforts focused on the application of electronic tools to drive high-value service models and using mobile to support the patient experience and create shared expectations for patients and providers. After Mayo Clinic, he became the Chief Clinical Officer at Jiahui Health in Shanghai, China overseeing the development and opening of an integrated, multisite medical system.

Dr. Cook’s work has included presentations at the World Economic Forum, the National Press Club, the American College of Health Care Executives, the National Bureau of Economic Research, and the National Health Service-UK, and media exposure with the Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, and the Advisory Board.
