Shai Ben-Ari

Shai Ben-ari is an experienced media professional with a strong background in news reporting and content management. Currently serving as the Head of English Online Content at the National Library of Israel since August 2018, Shai previously worked as a Senior Defense Correspondent at i24news from June 2014 to August 2018, where responsibilities included daily reporting on security affairs, live field reporting, and managing the Defense desk. Prior to that, Shai held the position of International News Editor at Channel 2 News from 2008 to 2014, covering significant events such as the 2012 US elections and the Arab Spring. Shai's earlier experience includes roles as a Business Analyst at Gamearray, Marketing Consultant at IDT Global Industries, Assistant Editor at The Jerusalem Publishing House, and QA Team Leader at Philips Medical Systems. Shai holds a Master's Degree in New Media and Internet Studies and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and General History from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
