Michael Veilleux

Michael Veilleux is the Chief People Officer of National Life. He started with the company in 2008 as a recruiter in the People Center. In May 2021 he was appointed Vice President and Chief People Officer. In between he held a variety of positions within the People Center, most recently leading National Life’s team of business partners. He also served as interim Chief People Officer in 2017 and 2018. As Chief People Officer, Michael oversees all people-related functions, including organizational learning and development, talent acquisition and retention, and the company’s culture.

Before joining National Life Michael held leadership roles in several New England based companies, with a focus in sales, operations and human resources.
