Rich Whalen

Rich Whalen has a strong background in technology strategy and execution, as well as practice management. Rich has experience working with National Life Group as the VP Technology Strategy & Execution, where they focused on growing and supporting the technology platform. Rich also worked as the Practice Management Lead, partnering with representatives to evaluate and align technology within their practice. Prior to this, Whalen worked at Voya Financial as the Manager Platform Strategy and Deployment, responsible for the Voya Smartworks platform. Rich also served as the Senior Business Development Specialist, enhancing the advice and planning features of the platform. Whalen's earlier experience includes working at ING as a Business Relationship Manager and Registered Representative, and at American Express Financial Advisors as a Financial Advisor.

Rich Whalen attended the University of Connecticut from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications.
