Jessica Edmiston

Jessica leads an outstanding National Medical coding team comprised of some of the most experienced and skilled surgery center and medical practice coders in the country. She has been a Certified Professional Coder herself for more than a decade and possesses a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Missouri in St. Louis as well as the highly acclaimed Certified ASC Coder (CASCC™) Credential. Jessica is also an approved ICD-10-CM trainer through AHIMA.

Jessica works closely with National Medical’s Performance Review department to assist in identifying compliance issues, areas of missed revenue and proffers immediate mitigation/resolution strategies. She is nationally renowned for her coding expertise; from being requested by name to speak at large conferences to authoring numerous articles in medical trade journals and publications.

Jessica developed the National Medical training program for new coders and also ensures that she and her team receive continuing education to remain abreast of the continuing industry trends and fluctuations.
