Dr. Krishna Kumar

Dr. Krishna Kumar is a Senior Scientist at CSIR National Metallurgical Laboratory since March 2020, specializing in extractive metallurgy, pyrometallurgy, magnesium and sodium metal extraction, and e-waste recycling. Prior to this role, Dr. Kumar served as a Scientist in extractive metallurgy from August 2013 to March 2020, focusing on metal extraction and recycling processes, including ferro-alloys and metal distillation. Earlier experience includes a position as Senior Production Executive at IDL Explosives Limited and a graduate engineer trainee at UltraTech Cement Limited. Dr. Kumar holds multiple advanced degrees in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, including a Ph.D. from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research. Education also includes a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Priyadarshini Institute of Engineering and Technology.
