Joy M. Benner

Joy M. Benner has held various executive and legal roles throughout their work experience. Joy M. began their career at Voya Financial as Counsel and Corporate Secretary, a position they held from June 1999 to May 2011. Following this, they worked at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., where they served as Privacy Counsel in the General Counsel's Organization from May 2011 to February 2013. Since March 2013, Benner has been with National Mortgage Insurance Corporation, where they initially held the position of Chief Compliance Officer, Vice President, and Associate General Counsel. Joy M. currently holds the role of Chief Compliance Officer, Senior Vice President, and Associate General Counsel at National MI.

Joy M. Benner attended the University of Wisconsin Law School from 1996 to 1999, where they earned their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from 1992 to 1996, receiving a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Political Science and Business Administration. Additionally, Joy M. Benner has also participated in executive education at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
