Heath Port

Heath Port, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and industries. Heath started their career at Allstate Insurance Company, where they worked as an IT Strategy & Planning Research Analyst and later as a Data Architect Analyst. Heath then joined Health Care Service Corporation, taking on roles such as Corporate Strategic Planning Manager, Sr. Strategy Consultant, Operational Excellence Supervisor, and Strategy & Planning Project Leader. After that, they worked as an Independent Consultant at Newmont Corporation.

In 2013, Heath joined Catholic Health Initiatives as a Strategic Planning Manager, where they contributed to post-acquisition integration efforts and improved collaboration. Heath then moved to Molson Coors, where they served as a Change Management Business Solutions Manager and later as a Sr. Manager of IT Organizational Change Management.

Currently, Heath is working at the National MS Society. Heath initially held the position of Sr. Director of Business Relationship Management, where they improved the technology department's relationship with key business areas and provided interim senior leadership for multiple teams. Heath was later promoted to the role of VP Technology Relationship & Portfolio Management, where they oversaw the design and implementation of a new technology operating model and built a high-performing team of relationship managers and project leaders. Heath also improved the demand management process to prioritize high-value projects.

Throughout their career, Heath has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, business relationship management, and technology implementation.

Heath Port, MBA, has a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Science, Biology, and Psychology from Truman State University. Heath also holds an MBA in Information Technology and Marketing from Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In addition to their formal education, Heath has obtained various certifications, including "Prosci® Delivering Project Results" from Prosci in 2023, "How to Innovate and Stay Relevant in Times of Change and Uncertainty" from LinkedIn in 2020, and "GE Workout Process," "Change Acceleration Process (CAP)," and "ITIL Foundations" in previous years. Heath also has certifications in Managed Healthcare Professional (MHP) and Professional, Health Insurance Advanced Studies, obtained from AHIP.
