Kari has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Kari started their career in 2004 as a Claims Adjuster at Nationwide and then moved to Target Corporation in 2005, where they worked as a Planning Specialist in Merchandise Finance. In 2005, they also joined Sports Authority as an Assistant Buyer and later took on roles as a Business Analyst, JDA Demand Planner, Lead in Training & Development, and Manager of Training & Development. At Sports Authority, Kari focused on developing and implementing training programs, designing department-specific training models, and conducting gap analyses to assess training needs. Since 2014, Kari has been working at the National MS Society, where they have held positions as the Director of Training, Leadership & Organizational Development, Senior Director of Change Management & Learning, and currently as the Associate Vice President of Talent Development. In these roles, they have been responsible for setting strategic visions and strategies for learning and development, managing teams, and leading change management initiatives.

Kari received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Finance & Real Estate, from Colorado State University. The degree was earned between 2000 and 2003.
