Sierra Harris

Sierra Harris has extensive work experience in the field of reproductive justice and women's health. Sierra is currently serving as the Deputy Director of Network Strategies at the National Network of Abortion Funds since November 2020. Prior to this role, they worked as the Membership Director at the same organization from February 2016 to November 2020.

Before joining the National Network of Abortion Funds, Sierra held various positions at ACCESS REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE. Sierra was the Co Executive Director from June 2015 to February 2016, Assistant Director from April 2013 to June 2015, Policy Manager from April 2012 to April 2013, and Healthline Intern from May 2010 to March 2012.

Sierra'swork experience also includes a role as a Program Associate at Breast Cancer Action from September 2009 to February 2010. Sierra was a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Women's Health and Human Rights from September 2008 to May 2009. Sierra was also a Graduate Student in the Women's Health Graduate Program at Suffolk University during 2008 and 2009.

Sierra's earliest work experience was as a Research Assistant/Independent Study at the Center for Health, Intervention and Prevention (CHIP) from September 2007 to May 2008. In this role, they conducted gender-based research focused on the barriers women face in Uganda and Mozambique in relation to HIV prevention and intervention efforts. Sierra also developed training materials and patient handouts based on their research.

Sierra Harris attended the University of Connecticut from 2004 to 2008, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. During their time at the university, they studied English and Women's Studies. Following their undergraduate studies, Sierra attended Suffolk University from 2008 to 2009, where they pursued their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Women's Health.
