The Role
National Media is seeking a creative, proactive and highly organsied Marketing Coordinator to join our Gold Coast team. You will play a pivotal role in bringing together thousands of people face-to-face at Australia’s flagship business events.

This is a broad marketing and support role encompassing digital platforms, social media, advertising, CRM management, copywriting, event support, general administration and reporting, across a variety of marketing-leading live events.

This role is perfect for someone with 2 years marketing experience, aiming to further their career.  A positive attitude is crucial, as you become an integral part of a young and friendly team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup and deployment of marketing emails, including cleaning and uploading of data

  • Oversee social media accounts across Linkedin, Instagram & Meta and TikTok:

    • Scheduling and posting weekly social posts
    • Plan/publish/monitor and respond to enquiries across social media
    • Drive social media audience and brand awareness
  • Maintaining a current and visually appealing website that reflects events brand

    • Uploading new content/speakers/seminars to the website
    • Ensure all content is up-to-date and accurate
  • Ensure that event listings on partner and promotional websites and completed are maintained year round

  • Liaise with event and media partners to ensure that all deliverables are actioned on-time

  • Build relationships with exhibitors and partners and ensure that they effectively promote their presence at events

  • Manage the marketing inbox and provide ad hoc support to the Marketing Manager

  • Assist in the creation and design of marketing materials, such as flyers, posters, and brochures

  • Attend events to assist with on-site promotion and marketing efforts (as required)

  • Support delegate team in matchmaking and VIP campaigns where necessary

  • Ensure that event photography is saved and tagged appropriately

  • Assist in the creation and deployment of post-event surveys

  • Support Marketing Manager in recording stats, compiling data and performance analysis

To be considered for the role you will ideally have;

  • 2 years marketing experience

  • Demonstrated initiative, adaptable and interested in expanding and building marketing career

  • A passion to communicate and engage

  • Experience in digital marketing/communications

  • Knowledge of website and social media platforms

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills

  • Experience with Adobe Creative suite (InDesign & Photoshop) & Canva

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English

  • High attention to detail, organised and reliable

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

  • Lastly, but hugely importantly, a sense of humour, pride in what you do, but zero ego.
