Changyong Cao

Changyong Cao is a Supervisory Physical Scientist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), a position held since August 1999, where responsibilities include providing scientific support for the operational calibration of environmental satellites. Prior to NOAA, Changyong Cao worked as a Scientist at Lockheed Martin from July 1994 to July 1999, focusing on remote sensing instrument calibration and validation. Changyong Cao earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems from Louisiana State University between 1986 and 1992, following a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Geography from Peking University, obtained from 1978 to 1982.
