Chiara Zuccarino-Crowe currently serves as the Great Lakes regional team lead in the Office for Coastal Management at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles as the Great Lakes outreach specialist and NOAA liaison at Michigan Sea Grant from August 2018 to August 2023, and as the National Tourism and Recreation Coordinator at the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation from February 2015 to July 2018. Chiara has a strong background in marine and environmental sciences, demonstrated through various positions, including Sea Grant Knauss Fellow and research roles in both The Nature Conservancy and Michigan State University, culminating in a Master of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University. Additional academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Boston College and a study abroad in Marine Science at UNSW.
