Elizabeth Tirpak

Elizabeth Tirpak has extensive experience in ocean exploration and research, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) since October 2014. In addition to this role, Elizabeth has held the position of Chief of Staff for the Joint Polar Satellite System. Prior to joining NOAA, Elizabeth worked as a Foreign Affairs Officer at the U.S. Department of State from March 1998 to September 2014. Elizabeth holds a degree from Eckerd College, where studies were completed between 1992 and 1996.
