Lisa Bucci is a skilled meteorologist with extensive experience in hurricane research and forecasting. Currently employed at NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration since March 2019, Lisa focuses on improving observation and forecasting methods for hurricanes. Prior to this role, Lisa served as a Senior Research Associate at the University of Miami from March 2012 to March 2019, where involvement included support for NOAA's Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory in hurricane-related projects. Additionally, Lisa worked as a Scientific Programmer at SAIC from May 2010 to March 2012, aiding NASA's Sensor Web and collaborating with researchers in the Hurricane Research Division. Lisa holds a PhD in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the University of Miami, a Master's in Meteorology from Florida State University, and a BSE in Atmospheric Science from the University of Michigan.
