Matthew Gordon

Matthew Gordon is an experienced professional in the engineering field, currently serving as a 2nd Assistant Engineer at NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration since September 2018. Prior experience includes working as a Steam Turbine Field Engineer at FieldCore from June 2017 to August 2018 and interning at Southern California Public Power Authority in July 2014. Matthew also gained experience as an Engine Cadet with Military Sealift Command in 2014. Educationally, Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering and Technology from California State University Maritime Academy and is pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at California State University, Northridge, expected to be completed in December 2023.
