John Lee

John Lee is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as a Third Engineer at the National Oceanography Centre since July 2022. Previously, John held the position of 3rd Engineering Officer in the Maritime Industry from September 2018 to July 2022. Earlier roles include 2nd Engineering Officer, 3rd Engineering Officer, and Engineering Officer of the Watch (EooW) at Arklow Shipping AS from March 2016 to September 2018. John began the maritime career as a Cadet at the Maritime Educational Foundation from January 2013 to December 2015. Academic qualifications include a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering obtained from South Tyneside College between 2013 and 2016.
