Diana Boettcher holds a Master of Arts degree in Arbeits- und Personalmanagement from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, which they obtained from 2018 to 2020. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Außenwirtschaft und Internationales Management from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, completing their studies between 2007 and 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Diana has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In June 2021, they earned a certification in Personaler im öffentlichen Dienst from Haufe Akademie. In January 2021, they obtained an IHK Prüfung nach Ausbildereignungsverordnung from IHK Berlin.
