The National Organization for Women (NOW) is the largest grassroots organization of feminist activists in the United States. NOW has hundreds of thousands of contributing supporters and members in chapters in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Since its founding in 1966, NOW's goal has been to take action to bring about equality for all women. The Advocacy and Community Engagement team at the National Organization for Women is dedicated to mobilizing grassroots activism and fostering community connections to promote women's rights and equality. This team works on legislative initiatives, organizes events, and engages with local chapters to raise awareness and drive action against discrimination, violence, and injustice.
