Lori Held

As the senior director for direct response, Lori Held oversees the organization’s digital and direct mail fundraising programs within the planned and annual giving department. She is working to grow and diversify the foundation’s donor base while methodically moving the organization away from its heavy reliance on paper and more firmly into the digital fundraising age.

Lori has more than 30 years of experience in direct-response fundraising for conservation organizations. Prior to joining the National Park Foundation, she held similar roles at American Farmland Trust and Trout Unlimited where she gained a reputation for her ability to think both creatively and strategically, manage multi-million-dollar programs, and effectively manage and collaborate with fellow staff, consultants, and vendors. She has a strong track record of growing and strengthening member/donor programs through new donor acquisition, improved donor retention, upgrading, and positive donor relations.
