Joe Gibson

Joe Gibson has extensive experience in park management, conservation, and community engagement, currently serving as a Maintenance Worker Leader for the National Park Service since May 2022. Prior to this role, Joe worked as a Parks Content & Research Specialist at Parks Project, where project coordination for "The Parklands" book was a significant achievement. A Field Coordinator at Rocky Mountain Field Institute, Joe managed field programs and conservation crews, emphasizing safety and quality. Joe also held roles as Community Engagement Coordinator at Parks Project, Park Guide at the National Park Service, and various leadership positions in outdoor education. Joe holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Foreign Affairs and Spanish from the University of Virginia.
