Colin Deverell

Northwest Associate Director at National Parks Conservation Association

Colin Deverell is currently serving as the Northwest Associate Director at the National Parks Conservation Association, a position held since October 2016, where responsibilities include leading advocacy efforts to protect national parks. Previous roles within NPCA include Northwest Senior Program Manager and Midwest Program Manager, focusing on campaigns for environmental protection and conservation projects in national parks such as Indiana Dunes and Pullman National Monument. Prior to NPCA, Colin worked at Metro as Council Policy Coordinator, Project Assistant, and Council Policy Assistant, contributing to regional policy development and transportation funding recommendations. Early in their career, Colin gained experience as a Field Organizer for Brent Barton for State Senate and held positions in customer service at Borders and as a Special Session Aide for State Senator Rick Metsger. Colin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Oregon State University in 2008.
