Mary O'Connor

Mary O'Connor has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on fundraising and development. Mary is currently working as the Senior Vice President of Development at the National Parks Conservation Association, where they have been since March 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Marketing, Development, and Communications at Women for Women International from October 2018 to March 2021. Mary also held the position of Vice President of Development & Communications at Rails-To-Trails Conservancy from November 2011 to October 2018. Before that, they founded MMOCA, a fundraising solutions organization, from January 2010 to January 2016. Mary has also worked in senior roles at The Conservation Fund and The Nature Conservancy. Overall, Mary O'Connor has a strong background in strategic planning, team management, and global fundraising strategies.

Mary O'Connor attended the University of Pittsburgh and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology.
