Christopher Baker is a Senior Research Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) since August 2020, with previous experience as a Scientist at QinetiQ from September 2012 to August 2020. Christopher has a strong background in infrared measurements, radiometric characterization, and laser studies, along with expertise in laboratory instrumentation and the ethical aspects of psychophysical studies involving human subjects. In 2010, Christopher participated in a Student Teacher scheme at Portsmouth University, which provided valuable insights into teaching methods. Christopher holds a Master of Physics degree from Cardiff University, completed in 2011.
