Jodene Young

Jodene Young (she/her/hers) graduated from the University of Sussex with a degree in English and then completed a Masters in Personnel Management at Kingston University. She is an experienced Human Resource (HR) generalist with a real talent for effective communication at all levels of the business.

She has worked in HR for a number of prestigious companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Wyeth and Tetra Pak, across a number of sectors, including retail, packaging, support services and pharmaceutical and healthcare.

Jodene joined NPL in 2007, initially as a HR Business Partner, working with a broad range of teams both in the functions and the science areas.

She is currently the HR Director, with responsibility for providing effective, innovative HR solutions to the business that facilitate a significant improvement in people capability and performance, while ensuring that NPL meets its legal obligations.
