Sei-Him Cheong

Sei-Him Cheong is a Senior Research Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory since November 2018, focusing on the maintenance and development of calibration software for underwater acoustic transducers while ensuring UKAS accreditation for underwater calibration methods. Previous roles include Marine Acoustician at Gardline Limited, where Sei-Him provided predictive modeling of marine noise and developed proprietary analysis tools, and Marine Acoustic Scientist at Gardline Environmental Ltd, analyzing underwater acoustic data for environmental impact assessments. Prior experience also includes working as a Marine Acoustical Engineer Assistant at Swansea University and a Vibration Test Engineer at Cobham.
