Capt. Bill Walsh

Capt. Bill W. has over 15 years of experience with the Voorhees Township Police Department, currently serving as the Captain and Operations Division Commander. Responsibilities include overseeing the Patrol and Criminal Investigations Bureaus, and assisting with professional standards and internal affairs. Capt. Bill has held various roles, including Lieutenant positions in Training, Patrol, and Community Affairs, where significant community engagement efforts and staff training initiatives were implemented. Additionally, Capt. Bill serves on the Ancora Psychiatric Hospital Board of Trustees, contributes as an Executive Fellow with the National Policing Institute, and lectures at Rutgers University - Camden. Capt. Bill is committed to advancing law enforcement practices and holds several advanced degrees and certifications in leadership and mental health counseling.
