Ashley Parrish

Ashley Parrish has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Ashley most recently worked as a Project Manager at the National Pork Board starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Communications & Events Manager at the Iowa Biotechnology Association (IowaBio) from April 2022 to January 2023.

Before entering the biotechnology field, Ashley worked at Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance for a significant period of time. Ashley held various roles at the company, including Meeting & Events Planner II from January 2019 to October 2021, Sales and Marketing Administrator II from January 2017 to January 2019, Sales Support Specialist from April 2015 to December 2016, and Administrative Assistant II from August 2011 to April 2015.

Ashley also has experience in customer service, having worked as a Customer Service Representative at Verizon Wireless from August 2009 to June 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Personal Banker at US Bank from April 2007 to March 2009.

Ashley Parrish obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Iowa State University, with an emphasis in Visual Communication. Ashley attended Iowa State University from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended Northwest Missouri State University from 2001 to 2002, where they studied Chemistry. Additionally, Ashley Parrish obtained a certification in Virtual Event & Meeting Management from the Event Leadership Institute in June 2020.
