Shannon Jepsen, PHR, SHRM-SCP

Director- Human Resoucres at National Pork Board

Shannon Jepsen has accumulated a diverse range of work experience over the years. Starting in 1998, Shannon worked as an HR Generalist at Principal Financial Group until 2001. From 2001 to 2003, Shannon served as an HR Manager at National Pork Board. In 2012, Shannon took on the role of HR Interviewer at DuPont Pioneer, staying until 2013. Shannon then joined Glenn Waterhouse III - State Farm Insurance Agent as an Office Associate in 2014. However, later that year, Shannon transitioned to the role of Manager- Human Resources at the National Park Board, where Shannon continued to excel until 2021. Presently, Shannon holds the position of Director- Human Resources at the National Pork Board, a position acquired in August 2021.

Shannon Jepsen, PHR, SHRM-SCP completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Organizational Communication, General from the University of Northern Iowa, attending from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their degree, Shannon has obtained several certifications through LinkedIn. These certifications include: Coaching and Developing Employees (obtained in June 2022), Hire, Retain, and Grow Top Millennial Talent (obtained in June 2022), Creating a Compelling Job Description (obtained in May 2022), HR Guidelines Everyone Should Know (obtained in May 2022), Human Resources: Payroll (obtained in May 2022), Human Resources: Understanding HR Systems Features and Benefits (obtained in May 2022), Talent Management (obtained in May 2022), and Diversity Recruiting (obtained in January 2021).
