Alisa Parenti

Alisa Parenti is an experienced journalist and media professional currently serving as Treasurer and Secretary of the Board of Governors at the National Press Club since January 2023. With a long tenure at Bloomberg News since January 2015, Alisa has excelled as a Breaking News Editor, focusing on market-moving news from Washington, DC, while also providing live newscasts as an Anchor/Editor for multiple major stations. Alisa has held various roles including Director of the Medill Mentors Program from May 2019 to May 2023, and Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University's School of Continuing Studies from July 2009 to December 2014. Prior reporting experience includes positions at WJLA-TV, MarketWatch Radio Network, and other news outlets. Alisa holds a Master of Science in Journalism and a Bachelor of Science in Communications, both from Northwestern University.
