Eden Harris

Eden Harris is an accomplished reporter with current roles at Semafor Africa, BET, Al Jazeera, theGrio, and The Washington Informer since October 2023, and serves as the National Press Club Wire Reporter since May 2023. Harris has also completed an International Media Fellowship with the Embassy of Rwanda, where significant interviews included the President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame. Previous experience includes serving as a National Politics Producer at Spectrum, a Multi-platform Producer at ABC10, an Assistant Editor at WTOP News, a Press Aide for the U.S. House of Representatives, and a Campaign Press Secretary for a Virginia House of Delegate Nominee. Early experience includes an internship with CBS News. Harris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from North Carolina Wesleyan University, a Journalism Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania, and multiple certificates from the Congressional Staff Academy in areas such as crafting floor remarks and editing.
