Larry Markowitz

Larry Markowitz has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Larry is currently the Senior Director of Financial Communications at NATIONAL Public Relations, a leading PR firm in Canada. Prior to this, they were a Senior Advisor in the same company. Additionally, Larry has held roles such as President of Redpath Holdings, Podcast Host at AIJA - International Association of Young Lawyers, and Member of Legalmondo. Larry was also a Partner at Les Placements LRG and Co-Founder of WeProofread.it. Larry has provided strategic advice and served as a member of the Advisory Board and Strategic Partner at Rosenzweig & Company Inc. Larry was a founding shareholder and Corporate Director at CoPower Inc., and a Strategic Advisor at Qmetrica Quantitative Finance, Inc. Larry began their career as a Partner at McMillan LLP.

Larry Markowitz completed their education with a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) and Bachelor of Common Law (LLB) from McGill University - Faculty of Law, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Comm.) from McGill University - Desautels Faculty of Management, specializing in Real Estate & Urban Analysis / Entrepreneurship, from 1988 to 1991. Larry also holds a Diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) in Commerce from Marianopolis College, earned between 1986 and 1988. In addition to their academic qualifications, Larry Markowitz is certified as a Lawyer by the Barreau du Québec in 1996 and has a crisis management certification in the Incident Command System (ICS) I-100 from Kildoon Emergency Management Training, obtained in 2022.
