Amy Blackman, CPRP, CAM, currently serves as the Public Information and Community Outreach Coordinator and Program Coordinator for Palm Beach County since July 2022. In addition, Blackman is the President and Chief Motivator at BTC Workplace Balance, LLC, established in January 2010, providing education and training in various areas including Accreditation Management and Leadership Development. Blackman also works as a Management Trainer for Abel & Associates and as a CAPRA Accreditation Reviewer for the National Recreation and Park Association, where involvement as an Accreditation Visitor highlights a commitment to quality standards. As the Chair and Founder of the Palm Beaches Treasure Coast chapter of the National Drowning Prevention Alliance, Blackman advocates for drowning prevention efforts. Previous roles include Recreation Centers Manager at the City of Boca Raton and Recreation Superintendent at the City of Boynton Beach, among others. Blackman holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation from Bowling Green State University.
