Jon White currently serves as the Director of the Energy Security and Resilience Program at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, focusing on innovations addressing energy security, system resilience, cybersecurity, and national security amid energy transformation. Previously, as the Director of the Energy Cybersecurity Research Program, Jon White achieved significant growth in the nation's leading cybersecurity research program for renewable energy technologies. Jon White's experience also includes key leadership roles at Sandia National Laboratories, where accomplishments included managing teams, leading technology research for wind energy cost reduction, and developing the nation’s first experimental wind farm. Jon White holds a Doctorate and a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, as well as a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
