Monali Mujumdar

Monali Mujumdar has extensive experience in both research and engineering, currently serving as the Startup Engagement Lead and Program Operations at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since October 2020. Previously, Monali worked as a Project Controller and a Senior Research Analyst at E Source, where evaluations of energy-efficient technologies were conducted for utility programs. Prior roles include tutoring middle school students in mathematics and science, serving as a Speech Engineer at V-Enable for voice-enabled systems, and teaching assistantship at the University of Wyoming, where laboratory classes were led for junior engineers. Monali's engineering background includes a role at ABB, where projects involving medium voltage electrical systems were managed from design to delivery. Academically, Monali holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Speech Technology and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering emphasizing Power Systems from the University of Wyoming, along with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from COEP Technological University.
