Ray Grout

Ray Grout is an accomplished professional in the field of engineering, serving as Center Director, Group Manager, and Scientist at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since June 2010. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral position at Sandia National Laboratories from 2008 to 2010 and a Coop Placement at Westport Innovations between 1999 and 2001. Ray Grout holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, obtained between 2004 and 2008, a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia (2002-2004), and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia (1997-2002).
